Plain language about what information SBC Tax Planning may collect, why, and the choices you have.
This site is in development.
The tax picture check is now active in this development version. Your answers and progress are kept only in your own browser until you review them and check the consent box. When you submit, the site stores your submission: your contact details, your answers, and your consent choice, including the consent version and the time the server recorded it. Nothing is sent to the site before that final submission. Email and text message delivery is currently disabled, so no emails or text messages are being sent from this site at this time, and no automated text messaging service is connected yet.
Information we may collect
- Contact details you provide, such as your name, phone number and email address.
- Your answers to the tax picture check.
- Call request details, such as preferred times to talk.
- Optional financial ranges you choose to share, such as an approximate range of investable assets or net worth.
- Basic technical information that servers process to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser type and request times.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, tax returns or similar documents through this site.
How it would be used
To contact you about your request, follow up about a complimentary review call, and send educational information about tax and retirement planning that you have agreed to receive.
Sharing call requests
If you request a call, your information is shared with a financial advisor at an independent financial planning firm, who will contact you.
Text messages
SBC Social Marketing LLC and the financial advisor's firm that contacts you send text messages only with your consent, including express written consent for automated texts. Message types include appointment confirmations and reminders, follow-up messages, and educational information about tax and retirement planning. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent, will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your choices
Sharing optional information is up to you. You may decline to request a call. Once messaging is available, you may reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. To ask about or update information you have provided, raise it with the person who contacts you.
